Should I be concerned and have her examined by a vet? She's acting fine, but I wonder if I should go ahead and have her checked out. I'm not sure exactly what type of spider it was, I didnt witness it, but my stepdad and my sister did. They said she acted like there was some discomfort at the site of the bite right after it happened, but as I said, she seems fine now. My stepdad said he was sure it was spider. This was indoors, so it was probably the type of spider you'd see mostly indoors. I think they would have said if it looked like a black widow or another spider with markings that are easy to identify. If you've had this happen to a pet or if you have studied in veterinary school, your input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'd say wait. Cats are tough. Watch for swelling or sickness. If this happens, then go to the vet.

If it happened this morning, and your cat is acting fine no, there's most likely no need for concern. Kep watching your cat, to see if any unusual behavior develops, or if she's uncomfortable. Or, if the bite itself starts to swell more, or starts looking worse in any way, take your cat to the vet. You may want to at least call a vet now, to see if there are any areas for concern, you know? Get a professional opinion.

Keep a close eye on the bite spot. Any redness or swelling or the cat acting funny get her to a vet.
