I've been making jewelry (earrings, bracelets, and necklaces) and I want to be able to sell them. How would I get a license for it (and what about taxes)?

Pay a bloods*cking lawyer a small consultation fee and find out what hoops your state requires you to jump through. Usually it isn't that horrid, I had one for years and the state seemed to be more then willing to help me give them money.

It is pretty easy to do online. It sounds like you are looking to file as a DBA "Doing Business As" whatever your company name is. Also know as a SP, "Sole Proprietor". Read through the small business info at My Own Company,
http://www.mynewcompany.com/idevaffiliate/idevaffiliate.php?id=1231
and they will provide you with the info you need.
You can also look at Biz Filings,

Best of Luck.

You don't need an attorney, as someone suggested. Just go to the county clerk's office at the courthouse.
