confide to your pet? do you tell your object of affection right away? or let the whole world know first before you let him/her know directly?

I am a private guy and the first one I tell will be the object of my affection. If the lake of love is overflowing in my heart, I think it is best to channel those waters straight to the appropriate place..... the woman of my dreams. She is, afterall, the first one who deserves to know. I then let the cat out of the bag to others. I can't tell right away for fear of "jumping the gun", but I cant hold it in very well and end up telling before I would logically plan too. I think you know pretty well how I work. hehehe

At risk of looking like Tom Cruise jumping on a couch, I usually cannot hide when I am in love with someone. Even though I don't tell everyone and their brother, people just usually can tell by the look on my face...that goofy sorta grin.
I usually wait until he tells me he loves me, although I have been the first to say it before.

Heck, Why do ya wanna keep it to ya self, and what is ya pet gonna do about it? Tell the whole world, what and hope they are listenin'? They'll think ya talkin' to someone else! That don't do anyone any good. But it might make ya fell better.
(maybe) Now Me, I generally make-it well known just what my intentions are. Get ya a little belly scrubbin' music and just kinda, real gently touchin' her and just whisper in her ear. Make sure ya don't hit that spot, or ya might not get to say nothin' though, she might beat me to the draw!

Truthfully, I don't evern write it in my journal for fear of someone reading it. I may tell and extremely close friend, but other than that it is a secret of my heart.

i don't realize until they say "i love you" and then i come to terms that i feel exactly the same, because before i didn't believe in love and thought it was so overrated, which it still is. love isn't the great thing, the person you are in love with is.

I let my close friends and my family know and depending on the person, I usually tell them too. I haven't scared anyone yet:)

If we have been establishing a relationship and there is no doubt I love her. Then I have no problem telling her I love her.
