My downstairs neighbor turned on her music super loud in her bedroom this morning to wake up my children. My kids sleep right above her. My husband works 3rd shift, so he needs to sleep during the day. PLEASE HELP ME COME UP WITH A PLAN FOR TONIGHT. What should I do that will teach her a lesson to SHUT UP!?????

It sounds like you don't want to talk to her, so how 'bout writing her a NICE note that explains your situation. Say something about how you know how great it is to listen to music, even compliment her on her music choices if you think that's appropriate.
Just remember, she'll be a lot more inclined to listen to your request if you ask nicely. If you try to get revenge, it's just going to escalate and you'll probably end up NEVER getting any sleep.

If I were you, I would do the same as she did but at night time! If not then go by her apartment and wake her up 2 in the morning asking to use the restroom or anything. Also do the jump and stomp!!!

Wait until she plays her music really loudly again and call the police. There has to be some type of noise ordinance that she is violating. It will piss her off, I'm sure, but maybe she'll understand that you are not going to play games with her.

Lessons do not help.
Nor complains.
Be SWEET. Go with some gift of food or flowers.
And a card. Be sweet in the card. Say you appreciate her : that she is so cooperative.
Then tell her of your problems later , 1 by 1.
If she asks, say it is a thank you for being a good neighbor...
Get the hints.

I had this happen years ago when I lived in an apartment, except the family downstairs was a man who beat his wife and children.
If you do something to piss her off, it will go back and forth until the cops get called. Then it will turn into a cop calling contest.
Try talking it out with her first. Explain she is disrupting the peace, and that you need to her to be respectful. Next step, go to the landlord.

Plan a dance party above her bedroom. Thats what we did when we were above this girl we didnt like on a band trip.

just have your kids jump on the floor. slam doors, run the water. talk loud, turn the tv up

Go downstairs and let her know how you feel...if she isn't the approachable type call the cops or your landlord...don't get back at her it is just a viscious cycle that will get ugly...been there done that...
