me every night i have a fear of the dark and i am 24yrs old!!

I leave the hall light on outside of my bedroom- I can't fall asleep without some light nearby- and regretfully my kids have the same issue because I do! And I am 45!!!
(Hey, there are worse problems in the world and they can't be solved by turning on a light!)

I'm also scared of the dark but I put the TV to turn off in an hour and so I fall asleep with a little bit of light.

I fall asleep with the tv on all the time. The hazards of a great couch sleep.

sometimes yea.
i have a nighlight and i am 32. plus i can't go to sleep without some noise on in my house, so i either have the radio or the tv on with the sleep timer going....
don't feel bad about being afraid of the dark. i am too!

No! I can't sleep when there is a light on or if the TV is on! I have to have darkness and silence.

well, i not scared but i always fall asleep with a tv on and sometimes when i'm really tired i leave on the lights becaues i don't fill like getting up to turn them off.......

IF I DO, ITS BECUZ I AM SICK OR VERY TIRED. MOST OF THE TIME I TRY TO AT LEAST TURN THE LIGHTS OUT. TRY USING NIGHT LITES IN YOUR BEDROOM, HALL, AND BATHROOM. TURN YOUR TV DOWN BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP. THEN AFTER A BIT, TRY GOING TO SLEEP WITHOUT THE TV ON AND MAYBE YOUR RADIO ON REAL LOW. IT MAY TAKE YOU A LITTLE WHILE, BUT EVENTUALLY, YOU CAN GET TO WHERE YOU CAN SLEEP WITHOUT EVERYTHING ON AND GOING AT NIGHT. GOOD LUCK!
