If a court would consider all the evidence would intelligent design or BIG BANG win? nothing else has ever been considered created by BIG BANG except the universe. Does that seem strange?

Yes, big bang theory would win over theory of creationism in a court of law provided God Almighty himself was present as a witness! But that shall never be... God Almighty is not the form of a human being... it is a cosmic source of unimaginable power! The sum total of all purified souls atmans in the Cosmos at a given point of time is what we know as God Almighty! This definition of God Almighty has been made explicitly clear in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna in Mahabharata.

Would it not be phenomenal success for all when God Almighty proves in the court of law that the theory of creationism... the theory of evolution also is correct! The existence of God Almighty itself proves that the theory of big bang is not only correct but is the only plausible solution! With the limited power of the senses and the mind can the puny human being ever imagine the occurrence of the big bang at the time of formation of a new cosmos?

The concept of the big bang theory is beyond the capture of most human beings and even science. Only those who gained enlightenment become a living testimony to the concept of the big bang theory. Enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) unfolds the complete Wisdom of the Cosmos... one practically becomes omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent! Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and prophet Mohammed... the moment they gained enlightenment... the wisdom of the cosmos was at their tips!

Before the occurrence of the big bang... the entire size of the Cosmos is just the size of half a thumb. This colossal cosmic power... unable to retain itself for long... explodes with a big bang resulting in formation of a new cosmos... a new cosmic life cycle! The mighty explosion simply cannot be imagined by human beings. Something... the size of half a thumb exploding with forces that result in building up of such a vast Cosmos! In the cosmic system... nothing ever occurs by chance... all is the result of a premeditated cause! More on Big Bang Theory - http://www.godrealized.org/big_bang_theory.html

The fact that more people believe in creation than in a spontaneous Big Bang out of nothing is giving some evidence that scientist, even with the help of the popular science press and all the school books can not win people to believe this "alternate religion".
There is a lot of "missionary activity" going on to influence more people by labeling creationists as stupid or uneducated.
But creationists have at least the same amount of evidence (apart from the bible) to support their belief, as the Big Bangers have by interpreting things in another way.
Even if legislation would forbid sharing the belief in creation, and declare the belief in Big Bang as the only belief accepted by the government it would change nothing.

There is no argument between Big Bang and Creation. Big bang is applauded by the religious establishments including the Vatican.

The theory of Static Universe which says Universe has no beginning and just existed in infinite time was the one that has a conflict with religion because it supports the theory of a Universe that has no creator and just existed forever.

The Big Bang however tells that the Universe started and has a beginning and does not eliminate that someone started or created it.

The Big Bang would win because there is evidence for it. We don't just sit around and make this stuff up.

Meanwhile, there is no evidence for special creation whatsoever.

Of course, if you wish to believe in something contrary to the evidence such as the special creation of the world by the armpit sweat of the great frost giant Ymir and the primordial world-cow Auhumbla, then that's your absolute right.

The big bang already won in court. Look up the Kitzmiller vs Dover trial, where intelligent design got busted by a conservative judge appointed by Bush. Even he could see it was bullshit.

Except the universe? Well the last time I checked the universe was pretty complex and awesome.

Neither would win. Theories can only be repeatedly tested. They can't be tried as court cases. Of course ID can't be tested and in a way neither can the big bang. Its just the most popular working model.

So, you prefer the ultimate answer to the meaning life, the universe, and everything be decided by 12 folks too stupid to figure out how to get out of jury duty? I suggest leaving science to the scientists and religion to the religious.

Physical reality is not subject to vote, legislation, judicial decree, religious dogma, political convenience, exhortation...

(physical reality) - (empirical reality) = faith

As for Creationism, what can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.

1)That which supports religion supports religion.
2)That which ignores religion supports religion.
3)That which contradicts religion supports religion - test of faith!
4)Anybody who criticizes is thereby proven unqualified to comment - and must be destroyed lest god(s) take offense.

neither would win, it would be thrown out!! evidence for either position is much too convoluted to consider...just a great example of polarized thought and how it DOES NOT work!
