The website simply loads a cookie on your machine so that when you return they read that and enter your password for you. It is a good deal if you are the only one who uses your computer.

The next time you visit the site , it doesn't require you type your ID and password. But it won't work if you have the security system active,

it saves in your cookies and now anyone that has access to your computer that has the slightest bit of knowlage or knows how to type google password recovery can now view all your passwords

they rember ur password so u dont have to type it and it automatically logs u in. not a good thing for privacy tho!
