I was raised in the south and many, many times I have had moon pies and RC cola. Part of what makes the south great.

yessssssss...moon pies...I used to drink Diet RC's....RC has a certain taste...memories!!

I remember Moon pies and RC cola. Especially the banana moon pies, yummy. Can't beat good food and southern hospitality.

Moon pies are made here in New England too. They tend to be fancy ones made at artisan bakeries who are trying to imitate the old style ones. They come out even better than the ones people remember from the old days.

Moon Pies are the same as Scooter Pies here in New England.
They are marshmellow between two graham like crackers covered in chocolate.
I have never seen them in a bakery around here -- those are whoopie pies, two devil smooth like cakes with a white cream (marshmellow or a fancy whipped cream) inbetween.

I've only heard of Moon pies from The Simpsons-- the one with Jasper in the freezer. I've never seen them sold here in Canada or seen anyone eat one.. or even mention them :P

No I live in the UK and we dont have them............ hwat is a moon pie? Also what is a Soccermom? So many Americanisms from Programmes like CSI (my favourite) that I dont understand!!!
