A safe vehicle. We won't get that choice if the Democratic congress has their way.

Vehicles are only as safe as those who are behind the wheels. I do realize that some are safer than others. I opt for a safer, energy efficient vehicle.

Safe. Looks like everyone else agrees with me too. The people who are big on energy efficiency aren't willing to admit that they want to sacrifice some safety. They're just trying to avoid the question.

Of course cars can be fairly safe and fairly energy efficient. But you'll always be able to make it a little bit safer by making it a little bit less energy efficient, by making it heavier. So all these "both" answers are crap.

Well, I don't drive. It's safer for other driver's, and pedestrian's, if I don't, since I have Nastagmus, where my eyes twitch left to right, in a rapid motion. So, although I have passed an eye test in a driver's test, merely turning my head slightly to the right, so my eyes could focus better, slowing down the twitching, I knew better, than to accept a license.
I am unsure, really, what you mean by a safer vehicle, since if one is hit by an 18-wheeler, lol, there's no hope for the driver of a car!
Lol, but whatever safer means, it sounds like it is more important than energy efficient.
I don't suppose Liberal Environmentalists will give a damn how much money Mommy saved, if she dies in a car wreck. Unless of course, MONEY was all they cared about in the first place.

A safe vehicle. I'm not driving my family in a fuel efficient car that sacrifices safety.

A safe vehicle. I'd go with whatever vehicle I could afford, but Ford ruined that for me with the Pinto.

Right now an energy efficient one but if I had children I could easily see why the first one would always be the one you choose.

Why choose, we can build a vehicle that is both safe and efficient.
