I use to work that shift for years and & would only get about four hours of sleep a day. And that was with wearing ear plugs!!!

Years ago I did the 3 rotations. Days, afternoons & nights.

How did I sleep during the day??? With my eyes closed.
Just kidding. It was very awkward to get used to the adjustments.

I would get up on my days off and was out of sorts. I wouldn't go back to that again. I guess, though, some people don't mind it. It's part of their profession.

There was a job I was going to apply for but it is strictly nights. I'm not a night owl the way some people are.

No, I don't. I have a second shift job. I get home around 1130-midnight. It's hard sometimes because I don't sleep during the time that everyone else does. I sleep around 3am and wake up around 11am. It works, but it's a pain to be honest with you. I do know a couple people that have third shift jobs. They have dark curtains in their rooms to block out the light. They sometimes sleep with white noise machines to block out noise around them. It works if you get your cylce adjusted to that.

No, but I love to pull all-nighters on here. I lose the sleep because I don't need that much anyway. I need about 5 hours.
