I think he did what was best at the time. While the news was circulating, there was no explanation to the Situation. In my opinion, The WWE did what they THOUGHT was right when they did the Benoit tribute. After all, it was an amazing career he had. Then the next day, to control damage, WWE, and Vince thought it was best not to mention Benoit and the situation. There are many people upset at the RAW tribute, but in my opinion, WWE may have done what was right. Everyone is saying that Benoit is a murderer...And yet, if you read all the statements made by the wrestlers, family and friends, he would seem incapable of doing this if he was thinking right. I dont think Benoit killed his family...i think whatever was what caused him to snap killed his family, and he was an unfortunate effect of whatever he took. Now there are rumors that Kevin Sullivan may have been the one involved...which i think is erronious,,,people want to believe that because Benoit was a hero to a lot of people.
Yes, i think WWE done what they thought was right, before the full story got out.

no, he didn't treat chris right-I don't think he should have removed everything about chris-after all vince made tons of money from chris' work-the least they could have done is support him as a wrestler-his private life didn't have to be involved-just his career. I don't have any time for vince now but I like wrestling as long as I don't have to look at that back stabber.

That was really stupid. Why tribute a guy who killed his wife and son? Especailly the other wrestlers like sorry a** Cena saying how great of a guy he is and a role model. John Cena is a clown, he use to be alright when he first started and he use to spit off some rhymes. Now he is a fake marine. Anyway Chris Benoit should not have a tribute hes a murderer

No-just erasing the guy is just plain creepy. McMahon can always find more fresh meat, so wrestlers will continue to die young.

He was trying to cover his @$$ so for the sake of WWE yes he did, but Benoit gave 21 years of his life to wrestling and to just erase all trace of him is wrong no matter what the police say.
