Now that I know you are asking about a faucet (much more common issue than a fossil) I would need to know what the problem is that needs fixing. Is the handle broken? Is the water dripping. Is water coming out from near the handle?

Most of the repairs are pretty straight forward after you shut off the water. Given the brand name of the faucet you can get a repair kit with all of the parts that typically wear out. You need only a screwdriver and wrench to work on most of them If it was a really fancy one it may have a lifetime warranty and will be replaced at no charge by the seller.

It sounds like you mean the spout considering it has the knob to pull for the shower. You can find a replacement at any hardware store and simply remove the old spout by turning it counterclockwise. You should see a pipe exposed then and simply turn the new one on by spinning it on clockwise.

If you think it's called a fossil you should hire someone to fix it.
