Hey,
I've got a lot of star wars fan fiction and I've been trying to submit it on theforce.net. But I keep getting stuck on the form. I was wondering is someone would help me with it. Some of the questions they ask I'm a just confused and hard for me to understand.

Thanks,

Sky!!

Basically, the site asks you for a couple of pieces of information. First off, they need to know your alias, screenname, handle...whatever you call it. For example, mine over there is Phantom Jedi.

Next up, they want to know if you wrote the story with someone else. If you did, then you you have to go through a bunch of info that I don't know anything about. If you wrote your pieces solo, skip that part.

Then you need to input your beta's emails. I've beta-d for a few people on that site, and basically they send out an email to make sure that your story actually has been reviewed by someone else before you submitted it.

Next, they want a title and a short summary of your story. For example, if your story is an AU where Anakin doesn't fall to the dark side, you'd put in something like: "A chance event, a fortuitous meeting changes destiny, averting a dark fate (or something like that).

If you looked at the challenges on the site and thought "Hey, that's cool" and now you're submitting a piece using that idea, you'd mark that next: if not, leave as is. Ratings are like what you'd see for movies: a link to a guide for movie ratings can be found below.

Keywords: these would be terms people use to search for your story. For example, I search "Darth Vader" and "Luke Skywalker" quite a bit, since I have a fondness for L/V father/son stories. If you have that in your keyword box, I'm likely to find your story.

Timeline: An approximate of when your story takes place. If it's an AU, take your best guess.

Genre: there's too many for me to describe. Just go through the list and check any that seem to make sense.

Central Characters vs Secondary Characters. This boils down to who gets the most "screentime" in your story. If Luke is there for 95% of the piece, and Lord Vader only pops in for a few paragraphs, Luke would be one of the primaries and Vader one of the secondaries. I'm guessing the "other" category is for original characters, though I'm not sure.

I hope that helps, and best of luck!

Sorry, the only sites I've ever submited Star Wars fan fiction to has been FanFiction.net and the apparently now defunct FanFix.
