I know how to do the whole freezer paper thing, but what paint to use? Some say it doesn't matter, but others say some are better.

So...
1. What paint is the best to use? (best for your money kind of thing)
2. How long do these clothes last without any fading?
3. Which is the best way to apply the paints? Sponges? Paintbrush?

The best paint to use is fabric paint, and you should use the brushes that are designed to use with this paint. Both are available at the craft store. If you treat your shirt like it was a fine garment ( cold water, turn inside out ), it should last for quite awhile.
