I have a cyst on the back of my wrist. I have had it removed but it just came back. I have been told to hit with a book like the bible, but i don't know if that is safe.

Believe it or not, sometimes they really do it. But have the doctor do it.

I have the same problem (right wrist) - I got it aspirated last year and it came back. (And it's usual that it comes back). In my case, sometimes it's sore and have had several lightening-like shocks. I've observed that the more I focus on the spot, the more I get pain - funny, huh? So I stopped looking at it and worrying about it. Now it comes and goes and I don't pay attention to it. Give it some more time but if it bothers you so much and it's too painful, have it aspirated again but I wouldn't use the book method... Good luck~
