Apparently.
These policies have failed miserably in the past - leading only to a perception of weakness and continued terrorist activities.
It kind of makes one wonder why anyone would want to initiate policies which have repeatedly failed in the past.
It baffles me.

No, I think the answer is to take actions to don't make more people in the Middle East want to join the terrorists, because that's what we're doing right now.

No. But let's address the underlying causes that create conditions that foster terrorism. Terrorism is a police matter.
I do NOT believe every political problem has a MILITARY solution. We have seen this in the Middle East already.

Have you been to the "Ask Ro" blog? Someone asked her about the war and terrorism, and Rosie O'Donnell actually responded, "Live and let live".
Hard to believe someone could be that ignorant and naive.

understanding is key to any move... either fighting them or talking to them...
I want to fight them... but Iraq isn't their hq... and the resources could be far better used in taking the attack to their homes and put them on the run...
do "righties" think that they can just randomly invade nations that are in the general vicinity of where terrorists may be with no clue of who they are fighting and have success?

Understanding in terms of understanding intelligence and using their own philosophy to fight them. We must understand the enemy in order to defeat them.
