The first one was the best, the ones that followed did not have the power. The main people in the movie were brothers with the same powers. The scene I liked was when they tried to trap him in the computer. Sorry this took so long, I retired three years ago but took a part time job with long hours.

This was the first horror movie that I ever watched and what more could you possible want?.
You had people reading minds, people sucking others minds dry(the scanner way) and ofcourse the ultimate head blowing up.
It was brill (a bit dated now) but still a good watch.

Yes thats the one where they use their powers to explode heads , an original horror film , the first and second were good but the rest after were a lot weaker in plot and the acting.One of Cronenburg's better films .

was ok as old 80s horrors go i want 2 see what the remake going 2 be like sorry i ment not as gorey as now but 80 movies was kool 2

Cronenberg's "Scanners" seemed more like sci-fi than horror to me. It didn't have the supernatural or unexplainable element that I find in true horror.

Good idea...probably really good for its time...but i heard they were remaking it...so it should be a whole lot better...just don't know if they could top the whole head exploding thing...
