Mysterious Skin (movie)-----Appealing or appauling?

Many say both, I just so happen to be a Neil McCormick worshipper... Joseph Gordon-Levitt made took Neil to a level that the book just couldn't do.

Yeah, I guess I would say that it's both. Appealing and appauling at the same time. I hadn't expected it to be so...graphic. I was quite surprised by it.

It was very disturbing to me, and yet I couldn't stop watching it. The movie--and Neil--kind of stuck with me and made a real impression, though I'm not sure what that impression is. So I guess that's a testamate to a well made movie and an amazing performance by an actor.
