Nintendo DS Multiplayer?

Question

How can you tell on the box if the multiplayer option for a game requires both players to own the game cartridge, or just one of them as in New Super Mario Brothers while the other leaves their cartridge blank?

Does it specify on the box?

Also, which other games have this capability?

Wireless DS single download play - only requires that one has the game and the other have to download it. This is somewhat a limited gameplay, for example, Mario Kart will only have 8 tracks and the ones that download the game will be Shy Guys.

Wireless DS Multi-Card play - everyone needs the game to play.
