Yes, I do because of the fear factor and just waiting for the other shoe to drop. But sometimes you have to take the risk and get close.

I used to be quite relucant to get close, it seemed each time I did I'd end up losing the one Iwas getting close too, but I must say that has changed , I met someone who I am very close too, and she's still there, I do believe it was written in the stars.

I don't try to avoid it, but sometimes I have sort of a mental block with being close to people

Depends on the person if I know they aren't really someone that is true and dear then why waste my time trying to get to know them and they might just be a passerbyer which could break my heart if they don't stay as long as I want them too...smile

i avoid touching people in any case so being close is not an issue to me but yeah if it's a hot bird, most often her clinging close to me is welcome :) - not happens without my efforts though

yeah i do. everybody i have ever been close to has hurt me pretty bad so i just keep to myself for the most part.
