I created custom battle pass and i tried connecting to wi-fi. After i clicked "Yes" for searching for an opponent, it gives me a warning saying "There are pokemon that cannot enter this battle set to the battle pass." What should I do?

The pokemon are action replayed but i am not using legends.

Are you using hacked pokemons? Usually hacked legendaries.

As of today it does not let me use my fairly caught Azelf from Pokemon Diamond. I've been using it on wi-fi since release and even tonight it let me on once but every other time besides that it gave me the warning message. What is odd is I can switch out to my Mesprit or my Uxie... just not my Azelf. Every other Pokemon seems to work fine... and I'm pretty sure i battled a Dialga tonight so I really hope this is just an error that will go away.

i have the same problem. even if your pokemon aren't hacked and are perfectly fine, they are still blocked if they are legendaries.
ex: i have afairly obtained mewtwo from firered that is banned.

some might be bad eggs before you used action replay.
