It's nice&cheap, but maybe the service is, too. I wouldn't trust a cheap doctor.

This is what I know about surgery in Croatia ---> the patient is EXPECTED to give a present to the surgeon BEFORE the operation takes place and that is in ADDITION to any professional fees payable. Of course the better the gift the.... better it is for the patient. How do I know this ? I was married to a Croatian lady for several years. Whatever this information is worth, you have it.
As for the country itself, it is stunningly beautiful and the people are wonderful.

I wouldn't worry about that at all. There are a lot of Italians repairing their looks and/or teeth in Croatia. It's very safe (and cheap too). It's also practical to combine health with relaxation on the adriatic.

Croatia was cheap to travel to and some some stunning coastal scenery...although I really like Zargreb, which is inland and has a completely different feel to places like Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar.
It was one of my favourite places to travel as it was do different and has lots of history!

Yes... Dubrovnik is awesome... I don't know about getting plastic surgery in a foreign country though... Sounds dicey and I bet if anything goes wrong her insurance company is not going to cover it in another country...
