so those are questions that people supposedly want to be asked and it's friendly to ask them but i get mad and frusterated at it because i feel like it's none of thier business. why should they care? i never ask those questions because I know I'm not going to listen to what they say. i really hate it when anyone shows any type of concern for me. ussually i just say "good" maybe alternate it with "fine" and "ok" and "alright" so i don't sound so much like a broken record but what word i say has nothing to do with "how I am" or anything I'm just trying to answer the question with something. those questions are so hard to answer for me. i don't really translate what happened to me and how I am into words. I think it gets distorted in translation when I try to do that. i like my brain to just be full of clouds, not words. I also hate poetry and reading other peoples poetry. i get mad when i relate to poetry and "words of wisdom". does anyone else feel like this? is there a name for it?

i think it's ok if the person really wants to know how you've been doing...getting in touch etc and if you had a good day...sometimes you're expected to say something else apart 'it was ok'. Mostly, people ask these questions just to make some conversation.
As for poetry, i don't like much of it. i'd often get bored in poetry classes. i don't even understand some! but for many persons they are supposed to make them feel calm, romantic and so on or translate their feelings into words for example words of hatred etc.

It sounds like someone has had a bad day? I'm in my seventies and in bad health, when I wake in the morning I thank God only, because I don't want to die in the night and scare my beloved wife.
I don't know what your problem is but, I don't really care either since you went to such length to make sure I know you don't give a crap.

It's to bad there's people, so many of them, out there, that have to be so nasty to so many other people.

I spent most of my life on the Minnesota/Canadian border just because of people like you, you have such a crappy attitude toward people trying to be nice, that's when I found out, it should have been you up here, away from society, not me.

I presume "How are you?" and "How was your day?" are the same as "Hi." It does not mean they exactly want you to describe whether your day was good or bad. Anyway, when I'm in a bad mood, I feel the same way. When I'm in a good mood, I say,"OK." If you don't like it, if you are talking to a stranger, you don't have to say anything. Just ignore them.

I hate those questions because they don't care how I am, and couldn't care less about what kind of a day I'm having.
