i am new to ebay, and i am trying to sell my 1GB xd memory card (after a 2 weeks after buying it, used it only once) and selling for half the price i bought it for.....anyway, i set the price at $15.00 ...i just got 1 bid and for some reason the price is still 15.00, my question is, in order to make bid don't you have to at least bid with a price slightly higher then the price i initially set. Is it because it was the first bid i got?

Yes they may have bid 17 but if someone else doesn't bid they will get it for 15, if someone bids 16 after they bid 17 it would bid them up to 16.50.

You set the bid at 15, and someone bid 15. It doesn't need to change until someone bids higher for it.

yeah its because it is the first bid
BID works like this
u put the price ppl try to raise it alil bit
and other person will come and raise it more adn more
and thats how it goes
so now u just gotta wait for more ppl to bid ur memory card adn as it goes on the price is going to be more adn more

good luck making money =)
