i started a new job the other day and i have work from 9-5 this 4th of july. i get minimum wage at 7.15 and hr. should i be getting paid more this 4th of july day?

you SHOULD. review you companies handbook. most companies out there do pay time and a half. i think its only ethical to pay your employees more on a nationally observed holiday.

It depends on the company's policy. You should have been given information about holiday pay during the interview, orientation, or training.
If you have not been told that you receive holiday pay then you probably do not. Information should be available in the employee handbook.

There isn't a law requiring more pay for holidays. Union jobs would pay time and a half and some other companies will. You may get your pay plus holiday pay so be getting double, ask your boss.

Depends on employer and state,IT is Not REQUIRED the employer pay extra.

depends on your employer -they should ahve given you a listing of the benefits they offer which would outline the holidays they offer. If not ask for it.
