Not sure, but when you decide let me know and I'll do the same to mine, who is catching flies on the sofa as I type this !
done nothing all day and worn himself out

How would you like your hubby to react if the shoe was reversed and you were asleep on the couch. I may be foolish but somehow doubt that you'd appreciate #1. As for #2 that may be an option if you think he'd appreciate it. And #3 well if he is tired then why not let him be. But being so kind and allowing him to rest like that on a Saturday afternoon should indeed be rewarded so when he arises I'd suggest that you let him know how kind you were to let him rest like that and that he should take you out for a nice romantic meal tonight and perhaps even a movie or whatever you might enjoy. Learn about causality. He is sleeping on the sofa because you did (A). Check his pulse in case he couldn't survive the trauma and the toxins.

Make him a cup of coffee if it is time for him to wake up. If it is late at night, let him sleep! Why on earth would you want to fart in his face? How would you feel if he did that to you?
