A friend of mine has a new girlfriend and she doesn't want to go on the pill. Question. He is not using condoms and is halting copulation just at the moment of ejaculation. Is it possible that traces of his sperm could still get into the womb and cause fertilisation?

This is called coitus interruptus, and is the most UNRELIABLE birth control technique in the world! Yes, she could, and probably WILL get pregnant. Sounds like she actually wants to get pregnant. Why isn't he using condoms? Do they both want to have a baby? Because I guarantee they will, and soon.

Yes. He may be controlling ejaculation to the last possible moment, but it is entirely possible that he could leak and not notice it. Remember that it takes only one sperm cell to cause fertilisation.

omg yes. the chance are lower than if he was fully inside her but there is still ever chance some of the sperm will make its way up. also when having sex men seep - -to put it nicely sperm without even knowing when this could also swim for the fruit if u get me

Absolutely. That is very dangerous and an easy way to have a baby on your hand in 9 months. She has to get on some kind of birth control - depo shot, the patch, or pill or they have to use condoms or he's gonna be a dad in 9 months.

Yes, i think that just maybe you need to tell him to use protection, unless of course he wants a child..there is obviously a reason to why she won't go on the pill, i am not saying its because she wants a child, there could be another reason..But i also think he is playing with fire.
