What are all of these "perfectly straight" guys doing in the gay section in the first place LOL.

I know this was addressed to perfectly straight guys only but the temptation was too great for me to resist! So I will give you my views on it anyway.

This is really a wonderful question in this section, it makes people put on their thinking caps and actually think for a while. However, I don't think many contemplated this question before they answered, it was mostly a reflex action for them. I say this because most of them immediately got defensive brushed this question off as though you were high on something! Much of the conventional population do not understand or even care about these issues since their rights in this aspects have already been protected. I say these kinds of questions gives bigots a taste of their own medicine!

Now for the answer, no I would not marry at all, I'd just live my life with my partner without legal protection or responsibility (as most of us LGBTs are living right now). I know this doesn't really sound positive for gay rights activism but this is the best that some can manage right now.

Well, I'm a perfectly *gay* guy and I used to live in a country where the government told me it was against the law for me to marry a man. Of course I didn't marry a woman. I just moved to Canada where I can marry the man I love. So I hope that answers your question.

No, I'd still marry a woman.

But I can't do that, because even though I identify as a man, people just see my female body and assume that I'm a woman.

So I'm straight, but not "perfectly" so.

What's the benefit for a man of marrying anyone?

This question is funny because I'm gay and I can't even marry a guy and i'd never marry a woman just because i can't marry a guy.

No, of course not. I would not marry anybody. I am amongst the 30% of the single people.

No. And I understand your question. People should be able to marry whom they choose regardless of gender.
