Not always. Looks get the fish on the hook but personality will keep him/her there. If you've ever gone out with a really good looking person (one who is so good looking strangers come up to you to tell you how stunning he or she is), you find that if there isn't much of a personality, or if the personality is not to your liking, their good looks kind of fade in your eyes to the point where you almost cannot see what attracted you to begin with. And with maturity, usually at least, you develop just a little more wisdom and look to the personality more than looks. However, looks--that is, looking healthy and happy, is also important because it reflects what's inside.

i think it's about personality! when you see a guy who isn't that cute but he starts talking to you and he has a really great personality, you'll probably become friends. but as you get to know him better he starts to grow on you, and you notice little things like when you say something funny and he starts to laugh, his nose crinkles up and makes him look really silly and cute. just something hardly noticeable like that. and you keep seeing more things like this and realize that he actually is good looking, because of his personality. he's a nice, funny, understanding guy who cares a lot about you. that's when things start to click and you realize that he means a lot to you also, but not as just a friend. at least this is what i think counts, not the sex-god looks!

It's almost always about the personality, not the looks. I don't ignore people just because they're not beautiful, I can relate.

From my perspective, yes...... you can take a very attractive person, but if they have an ugly personality, they are ugly in my eyes...
Conversely, take someone who is not a fashion model, if they have the qualities I find attractive....then they are beautiful to me...

yeah, looks can only get a person so far. it's the personality that keeps you there! besides i've seen personalities that far outweigh looks anyways!!!
looks fade, but personalty is forever!

Its all about the personality...not the looks...come on...someone can be totally hot...but can be a total well u know...how much fun is that!!! Not much to me...thats for sure!!!
