Is it more convenient to pre order it? If I don't is there a possibility that they might run out?

Just Pre-Order it!!!!!!!

Why take a chance? If most bookstores don't make you pay for it when you pre-order. You don't even need to go to the store to do it just call. Also most places the pre-orders will get rung up before the walk-ins.

Having worked in bookstores during Harry Potter releases, I can tell you pre-ordering is the way to go. Pre-orders help bookstores get a handle on how many copies of a book to bring in. Now, granted, there isn't a store out there that won't have several copies of this book, but it still helps them know what the initial shipment should be.

Pre-ordering will also just make life a whole lot easier, Instead of having to deal with however the store chooses to deal with getting the books displayed for purchase. Pre-orders are ususaly kept at the register, so you can just get in line and get yours without having to deal with the rest of the event, or you can enjoy the event itself knowing all the while that your book is safe.

Whether you're going to the midnight release or are going to wait, it's better to pre-order. Their going to give books to the folks who pre-ordered first, setting some aside for those who don't show for the midnight release but who pre-ordered, and then if they've got any left after that it'll be first come first serve. If you pre-order now you'll be assured to have a copy waiting for you.

Yes pre-order, they could very well run out since this is the most anticipated of all the HP books.

Have fun at the midnight release! A lot of people dress up - if you don't, they call you a Muggle. ;)

I got mine. I am going to Wakmart. I went there for book 6. They had 2 lines. We got there maybe an hour early and were like the 20th person in line, but for the regular line. The preorder line goes first, even if they show up after you. They have theirs for 2 dollars and it goes to the purchase of the book.

I would recommend that you preorder Harry Potter in a big city. You don't have to if you live in a small city but if I were you I would just to be safe.

Preordering it would be your best chance of getting it. If you don't preorder it, there is no guarantee you will get it the night of release. I used to work in a bookstore and sometimes they had only enough for the preorders. Hope this helps.

I would buy it at the release.
Because you get the exitement of being one of the first to buy it and you get to go through the madness.
