I'll be there with a friend who has MS and walks with a stick. So any suggestions on what we could do for the day would be great. Thanks!

She can't walk far at all, and can't use the underground. Too many steps, and too few stations with disabled access

I think the Duck tour is really cool, it is in an amphibious vehicle, so it goes on land and in the water, and gives you a really good tour of London

Then go and have dim sum in China town, or possibly see a west end show. Whatever you choose to do, I hope that you and your friend have a really great time!

There are so many things to do. It depends on how far your friend can walk. There are loads of museums to see. The London Eye is good but you may have a long queue. The boat on the Thames is good but if you can find a night time Thames trip that is magical. Theatres, parks, shops, St Paul's, Westminster Abby, The Tower, The list is endless. With the underground and buses it is easy to get about. It was Johnson who said "When a man is tired of London he is tired of life." and he was right

dont take this the wrong way but you can do almost anything now, nearly everywhere is open to people who use a cane, although i would suggest something like a good film or the opera as i know people with ms get really tired so will need a good sit down

If your friend walks with a cane I don't see why there would be anything you couldn't do. Just make sure your friend has a place to sit and rest from time to time. You should be able to visit all the highlights of the city.

Just watch for benches, maybe a stroll in their Hyde Park would be nice, visit castles and palaces. I'm sure there's a few with elevator access, take the bus and metro.

And just have fun.

London is no different from any other city in that regard, only the people are more courteous than in most U.S. cities.
