Is the Mystery Event in Diamond/Pearl really true?

This July 14th in Japan they will be giving away Mystery Gifts and the people on wi-fi will be able to recieve the gifts. Can anyone confirm this or give me a link to where it's true.

I meant to say Mystery gift and the Event pokemon. Got the 2 switched.

I think is going to be a wireless thing not wifi. Meaning that people that show to the local event will be able to get Darkrai.

Darkrai Event

Well, thanks to Filb for the tip, the Darkrai Event in Japan has been announced. On July 14th, the same day as the movie's release, you will be able to get Darkrai through Mystery Gift when at the Cinema (using the Local Wireless Mystery Gift). However, you will not receive Darkrai by catching it yourself after going through the in-game story, but rather just receive Darkrai. This Darkrai however, like other Pokémon given in events, is inside a Cherish Ball, has a Special Ribbon, and this time has an Enigma Berry attached. It also has the Dialga & Palkia exclusive moves Roar of Time and Spacial Rend. We'll bring more on this as we get it.

i dont really care about the mystery gifts but i am only worried about arceus and darkrai.... i dont really need shaymen or however you spell it......im almost done with the game too.... i just need the legendary pokemon...... and dont be like other people and use gamesharks or actionreplays that is just plain wrong..... so how do you know the mystery event is july 14th in japan??? when is there gonna be on in the usa because i live in california and stuff.... so ya email me back to tell me when the next mystery event is gonna be....

yes i think it is true but i dont think they broadcast the event that far away even on the wifi. but u can try or just wait until one comes to the u.s. but u also need to have the mystery gift function available on yur game by getting it from the thing in jubilife which u probably know about
