The one earthly person that has made a difference in my life was my brother Boyd. He passed away eight years ago, but he will live in my heart forever. He was the kindest person I ever met. When you would visit him and his wife it was the most peaceful place I've ever been on the earth. They never had much money, but they always had everything they needed. She passed away last year and my sister saw him standing at the end of her coffin. He loved her so much he came back from heaven to escort her there. They had one son and he got the best of both of them. So this is why my brother had such an impact on my life. Thank you for asking.

Richard. (See top of leaderboard.) He became my friend early in the Beta testing of this program, and we agreed early on to connect via 360 as well, and shared our email addresses with one another. I learned about the value of Internet friends, people you can love and trust even though you've never been within a thousand miles of one another.

Then, to my joy, both of us were invited to Answers' first birthday party in Sunnyvale, California. For me it was just a chauffeur-driven ride over the Santa Cruz Mountains, but for Richard, it was a long airplane ride. We finally got to meet face-to-face!!! We were best buddies from then on.

When I got put on disability and decided I could not afford to live in Boulder Creek any more, I put up a blog soliciting suggestions as to where I might move that had a lower cost of living and a good quality of life. Richard and a couple of other people strongly urged me to move to St. Louis, Missouri. I did. I love it here.

My best friend and life partner has been deeply involved in politics and because of him I have had the opportunity to attend four Democratic National Conventions. He also introduced me to Hawai'i and we have taken too many great trips to even count--Canada, New Zealand, Fiji...he is a real blessing in my life.

The angel dusted Mexican essay dude who bashed my skull open with a tire jack. Why? Because I objected to him shoving my neighbor down a big hill and then setting my house on fire.
