I will be traveling from Detroit to Boston and would like opinions if one route is better than another: drive through Canada or take the toll road through Ohio?

It's more direct to go through Ontario, so you'll save some time. The roads are all superhighway.

Go to Ontario on Route 401, cut toward Hamilton at Route 403 (turn is just past London), take the Queen Elizabeth Way to Fort Erie, cross the Peace Bridge to Buffalo, and hop on I-190 South to Interstate 90 East. Then it's eight hours east to Boston.
