I just got an interview at a bank, it's next week and I'm a little bit nervous. Can you give me some tips on how to act so I get the job and also what to wear? I'm 19 years old so if someone older with experience went in they would probably get it. How would I beat them? Please give me some tips...

You want to look attractive in a professional way. Sexy or party girl looks won't cut it. Look clean and polished and wear something neat, clean and flattering but grown up. Skip excess jewelry. Keep it simple. And keep the makeup simple but flattering. Remember, make up should enhance what you've got, not make big changes in your appearance.

Smile, and behave in a confident way. Make eye contact and use your very best manners. "Good afternoon. Thank you for seeing me." And be sure to conclude with "Thank you so much for your time. I'll look forward to hearing from you."

Be sure you have a few logical, intelligent questions ready to show that you are really interested in the job. A good one to ask at a bank might be "Are there any educational opportunities available for your employees? I'd like to become as knowledgeable about the banking industry as I can."

Most positions in banking deal with the public, so you need to appear confident and polished. Don't over do it though. A good answer when you don't KNOW the answer is always "I don't know but I'm sure I can find out. I'm a quick learner."

Don't sell yourself short because of your age. Young people make good long term employees because they're enthusiastic, willing to learn, and can be trained in the system being used at that particular place of business.

Hi, well you have to think about the position first of all. You are not building rockets or coming up with solutions for climate change so they probably do not care how smart you are. I'm sure they don't want an idiot but you don't have to wow them with big words etc. And also, you'll be speaking to the general public which include, sometimes, idiots.
You just have to act outgoing, kind, and understanding. Don't be too outgoing (as if you're hyper) just keep eye contact as much as possible, nod when they speak to you, and don't be shy.
Make a list of questions you think they'll ask and write down some answers. Be prepared for the basics (what are your best qualities, what are some qualities you can work on). You can look up "typical interview questions" in Google and it should help. It would be VERY good if you practiced these questions and could answer them well.
As for what to wear... look at what the bank tellers normally wear and dress similar to that... a little dressier if you think it's appropriate.

Everyone gets nervous for interviews, speeches, whatever. People just get better at them from learning from their mistakes and making fools of themselves. If you're scared ahead of time...try watching a comedy that makes you crack up or listen to uplifting music that motivates you. It will make you feel more confident.
If you don't get the job just think of it as a learning experience... you'll get better over time I promise. But good luck.

With regards to clothes...just make your pick:

Also, I suppose they are looking for someone looking mature enough to bare such responsibility. You can look mature in three ways: clothes, physical appearance (hair, nails, body language and verbal language. Confidence would be the ultimate request.

Good luck!
