Like I've said before, the US is using Copa America to get some young and inexperienced players some good experience. Some of these players that are playing for the US in Copa America could be playing for the US in 2010. Coach Bradley is more concerned about the future development of his team than he is with trying to win this tournament and earning the US some respect. I would have liked to have seen more of the US' better and more experienced players going down there but I think Bradley has really good intentions. Besides, what is more important, Copa America or the World Cup?
On another note, the team didn't do that bad for their lack of experience and individual level of play. They did better than I though they would though I didn't think they would have had 4 goals against them. I think overall they did pretty good for being a young and inexperienced team playing against the powerhouse that is Argentina.

You might want to put more consideration into the humiliation of argentina from the US keeping them from even shooting the ball for 41 minutes of the 1st half. Id expect a little better from what some argue as the best team in the world.

How many do you get to drink when we win? I hope you're not doing the buying.

Now Senor Spok

Why aren't there any Americans in F1? Hmmm....who cares. It's not a sport. I could ask why aren't there any Argentines in NASCAR? There is a driver from Columbia who is racing now.

Our USA Baseball team has made it to the 2008 Olympics. It is true that we didn't go to the 2004 Olympics but it's because we lost in qualifying

Polo? Are you kidding me. That elitist sport?

Do you believe everything you hear Senor?

Why do you say that ? USA just lose, that´s all, it will take a long time for the development of a good futbol in USA,of course USA can import players.
That´s why there are no US F1 drivers ,huh?
USA is very afraid to lose on anything,do you know that USA will not play Besibol at the Oplimpic games because the winers are always Japan and Cuba ?
I have a friend who plays Polo and he told me that USA no longer plays Polo because the winer is Argentina , always!

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh that's cold. hey the us is pretty good. We beat mexico in the world cup in 2002. and canada? funny. So we would have a great chance. maybe not against brazil or the south american teams, but we could win North America.

who cares, we don't watch soccer here. soccer is for kids, women, and sissies like you.

note to senor spok: there are no american F1 drivers because we have the worlds best racing series right here. it's called NASCAR. why would any of our drivers want to leave the greatest country on earth to go play follow the leader in europe? and as for your laughable comment about us being afraid of international competition, last i checked we dominate the olympics every 4 years. can anyone remember the last time the US was not at the top of the medal board at a summer olympics?

Whats the copa America? Nobody here pays any attention to that. Baseball and real football are the only sports anybody pays attention to here.

they can beat the rest of the teams. argentina has some good players. some very good players. the US needs their best players too. Where in the hell was Donavan? Mexico beat Brazill so the US has a chance. remember we beat Mex in the gold cup.

I do agree we're humiliating ourselves but it's not for sheer participation...we've got our MLS squad down there instead of the talented guys.
