She left the china and took the gold plated silver service . They took numerous gifts from other nations given to the United States as other Presidents have left for the White House. Jackie Kennedy was a perfect example. They were not meant for the Clinton library if they ever showed up there. Our treasures. Yet, we take as we see and they do and did. Yes, I remember. But I wish we could find some more links. Lately all my Hillary ones have been altered. I wonder why? Senate.gov takes forever. I started in January this year and now each most are all gone. But, I love research and will find more that they can delete. Thanks.
* IT shows disrespect and a lack of integrity. Something that was fact considering this was the first President dis barred while in office. AND a surplus built on the largest amount of personal debt ever in history. Like mortgages and credit cards? So if the money is real dollars or just paper and revolving it really was just words? No disrespect intended just an exchange of ideas. TY

Give me a break...what are you 5! "Well he did this..he did that!"
Whether it was a practical joke or just a plain lie I still think that pales in comparison to the Bush administration.
Seriously! It shouldn't be about party lines anymore. I've had discussions like this before and I know alot of people who are fed up with both Dems and Rep.
I know its not anything that'll happen soon but we need to move past these party lines because all it has done is create a wall that is so thick that things just aren't getting done.
States have to look to their gov's to handle the business that washington won't do (i.e) Arnold in CA and Bloomberg in NY,also the Gov's in Washington and Arizona. these are just a few of the people trying to make a difference and they are finding ways to work with the opposite of their respective parties. And do things to make a national and global impact.

Democrats have hammered Bush on this war. Why not, they have nothing else, no ideas, no issues. The economy is doing well, and we have low unemployment, inflation. There have been no attacks on this country since Bush took the fight to the terrorists (there were more under Clinton than any other president in history), and the only reason libs have to impeach this president is that we impeached Bill. Bush has cleaned up the White House, thankfully it seems Americans aren't willing to see it get sullied again so soon by her and her scandel-a-day husband.

THIS is how they left office:
President Clinton announces another record budget surplus
From CNN White House Correspondent Kelly Wallace
September 27, 2000
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Clinton announced Wednesday that the federal budget surplus for fiscal year 2000 amounted to at least $230 billion, making it the largest in U.S. history and topping last year's record surplus of $122.7 billion.
______________________________________
Bush made short work of that surplus, and we are now in the greatest deficit known to man.
Any other questions?
Koala: Try some original material. You already posted that BS once today. And thanks, but I don't need any correcting.
The issues you are spouting off about are exactly why GWB is where he is and why our country is in the sorry state it is. I do not care about one's personal life or issues. I want a President that will lead our nation into prosperity. What he or she does in the privacy of their own Oval Office is not my business, nor is it yours.
If you want to crucify someone, look no further than whom you are trying to defend. If there were ever a better candidate for impeachment, I can't think of who it could be. Forget about Monica--at least Bill was lying to save what was left of his marriage. Bush willfully mislead the People of the United States of America--his Boss, no less--to carry us to war. That is an act worthy of impeachment.

Hillary won't be the next President of the United States. Yeah, she's fun to have around and gives all the right answers, but when time comes for a Primary nomination Hillary won't have the backing.
Gravel has more of a chance than Hillary, as Democrats know that Clinton is very polarizing and she won't get the popular vote needed.
Why worry about things that aren't going to happen?

I remember it very well. These idiots on here who says it was a story made up by Bush are lying through their teeth. It was in the national news and even their own liberal news media had large stories about it.
The Clintons are thieves and liars and Hillary's flip flops of the recent proves it.
I also remember Hillary and Gore standing up and trying to get the Electorial College disbanded because Gore lost.

This was a b.s. story, and was long ago debunked. Please, read the following for clarification:
"...Bush propaganda machine and the full array of Clinton haters continued their daily assaults on the ex-president, attacking his pardons, gifts he'd received in the White House, his proposed New York office building, and allegations that his staff had trashed the White House after leaving office."
"...the stories of White House vandalism were greatly exaggerated, the claim of theft on Air Force One was pure disinformation, Clinton's gifts were not significantly larger than those of Reagan and Bush senior."
"Bush's White House would leak rumors to friendly journalists, or those managing rightwing Web sites such as the Drudge Report, and the stories would quickly circulate and be taken up by the mainstream media; there would then be days of impassioned discussion, and eventually reputable newspapers such as the New York Times would publish stories deflating claims, for example, that the departing Clintonites trashed the White House or took mementos from Air Force One. Reporters looking into Clinton's last days in the White House did not find that he took any more gifts or objects from the White House than his predecessors, and W. himself was forced to concede that there was no truth to the rumor that the Clintons had stolen items from Air Force One on their last trip. But the damage had been done, and the Bushites were able to present themselves as a "clean" and virtuous contrast to the departing Clinton administration."

Doe, a deer, a female deer...
President Clinton did not place thousands of troops in jeopardy by fabricating a reason to invade third world countries, and leave them hanging waiting for any orders but "Stay the course."
President Clinton balanced the National deficit which had been created by twelve years of "Reaganomics" and "Bush Sr.-nomics".
Do you know for a fact that the alleged furniture and trappings the Clintons took when they moved out of the White House did not belong to them? Please name your sources.
Please produce a link when you write accusatory statements; it makes your arguments credible. Otherwise, it's just libel.

That talk about them trashing the place and taking gifts along with graffiti, and obscenities scrawled on the wall was dealt with by the final GSA report issued in 2001 as well as the GAO report which showed that there was little or no evidence of theft of gifts or wholesale vandalism. The 217 page GAO report concluded that minor and scattered acts of vandalism did occur, putting the total cost at $13,000 to $14,000, but says such damage is typical of recent White House transitions, including that carried out in 1993 by Republican officials in the outgoing administration of the elder George Bush, the father of the current president.
