How do you keep up your confidence?

Many of the cocky people are not really confident, they are just trying to fake it.
If you have what it takes to succeed, then there is no reason not to be confident. And you can be confident without flaunting it. ;-)

Just start laughing at the cocky ones who think they are better than everyone else... Pay attention to those who are arrogant... You will fing that they do some of the silliest things.
For example: My ex boss was the most arrogant, cocky Man I knew.. He was one of these guys who hated to be wrong, refused to admitt it and walked around with his chest puffed out and hands made into fist all the time, except when he was in his office alone then he would walk normal and you could clearly tell he was just a skinny little dork. Well he thought he was GODS gift ... But I realized that the he drove this black chevy pickup with a red camper shell, I look at the door on the truck and all the way down the side is those Bullet hole decals that you can buy at the auto parts store... HE put fake bullet holes down his truck!! So everytime I looked at him I just thought about those ridiculous bullet holes and laughed. See I realized that he wasn't as confident as he put on, Someone who is truly confident has not need to put on an act or treat people like crap.

I ran into that feeling today with a person on YA who gave me an ignorant comment on a question i posted.. Just brush it off and keep on knowing that you can do anything you set your mind too. Don't let others bring you down.

I work with this guy who walks around work saying how awesome he is and how is the man and he is so proud of himself. Its scary. He admits he is cocky and doesnt even care.

i tend to consider ********* a character flaw and just treat those cocky people how i treat all normal people.
just because they think they are better doesn't mean they are...think about that

just have high faith in urself, and if they're the type who come up messing with you because they think they're all hard, kick the shi.t out of them, trust me they usually suck at fighting and are all talk
