What is a good niche business I can get started in?

It depends on your skills and resources. If it needs to be online it will limit your choices to things like answering surveys where you compete with every handicapped person, kid or retired person and all the housewives so you can't make much money. People in the middle of no where and unemployed people will do things like that for $1.00 an hour from lack of choice.
If you don't need to be on line you can do hundreds of jobs from home like daycare, accounting, architecture. If you aren't housebound you can do things like landscaping, home inspection, or nearly anything you can do as an employee.
To really make money on line you need skills like designing websites or writing software.
