Is there something they're hiding? Should we patriot act these people?

Belle of the southern lights, you I respect. I don't always agree with you but you manage to resist the impulse to stoop to the level of the left crazies you answer, most times. I also notice you question your own party a good bit. I think that's why you aren't in their clique, good for you.

For others, you can keep your profile private, like I do, without keeping your questions and answers private, like so many of the crap stirrers on here.

Stalkers. I'm not a top contributor by far. But I know that many of them have problems with stalkers. I closed mine down for a bit also. It's not fun having someone follow you around and give out violations like they're pieces of candy.

As there is nothing at stake here, it seems sad that people are trying to get the recognition that they deem so important. Not like they are getting it at work, at home, at any other part of their lives - they are getting it on Yahoo!?? I just think it's a sort of fun thing to do....but I wouldn't take it too seriously.

common sense.

for a while i had a real profile, which had my real photograph and my real location and my real e-mail address.

no one wanted to contact me for any constructive reasons, ever - all i ever got was a litany of pornbots and used car salesman quality communication.

then there was the charming individual who i shredded in a debate who decided that it would be fun to post my photo and e-mail address.

sorry, but the general quality of the user out here is not worthy to know my personal info...

I don't get that either. I don't think they should be
considered Top Contributor if we can't see what
brainy answers got them that title.
I almost gave best answer to one of these "private"
people yesterday, but when I saw that their answers
were private, it totally turned me off.
His "privacy" costs him a best answer - too bad for him.

Fear of violations.Mine is still open but if I would being to receive tons of violations every day I might consider closing it down.
And good point you make there.I love to see someone take their own arguments and use them against them.Hopefully they'll understand now that the if you have nothing to hide logic is flawed

One supposes it becomes a more selective community. You will be tapped and initiated when the time is right.

Fear of confrontation
or...
We might see that they are giving BS answers just to get the top contributor tag.

In one word - STALKERS
I hate to do it but if I don't my crazy stalker just answers all my questions with new profiles.
