deterioration and such... Doesn't it make more sense to start programs that would help us live on other planets or at least space stations, rather then spend so much money to only prolong the inevitable?

Don't forget the sun will eventually run out of nuclear fuel and go supernova.

Yes. Humans should continue to explore and learn.

As to dollars spent today on Earth friendly ventures we (USA) should continue our outstanding efforts. The rest of the world should follow our lead.

Global warming is a farce! The earth is going through a natural climate change. It happens. The only constant in the Earth's climate is that it constantly changes.
If the Earth is getting warmer because of humans why was it warmer 1000 years ago? There was a silver mine discovered in Europe recently that was covered in ice for over 1000 years. How do you explain that? It was warm, got cold, and now is getting warm again. We have nothing to do with it.

STOP THE GLOBAL WARMING MADNESS!!!!

I say we are the disease to the planet.....and by the planet's atmosphere changing it is infact mother natures way of nursing herself back to health.

Just let it happen.....we are all going to die at some point, so why not let ourselves be the cause........

sorry....that's a bit morbid actually......I don't mean it to be....I just mean that whichever planet we inhabit, the same thing will happen, because we are the disease, and what's happening is mother natures way of fighting back, the planet is healing itself as we speak.

Interesting question. I am of the belief that we as humans are part of the natural world, not above its rules and cycles of life. If we as humans destroy ourselves, then perhaps that is evolutions way of saying that incredible intelligence is not a desirable trait for living organisms.
