Good question. They really need to be nicer if they can find it within themself. ;-)

Before I start off with my response. Do not label the hate on Y!A. You cannot just classify "all American girls" as haters. Although, you may be using the American version of Y!A does not necessarily mean the person spreading the hate is from America. Labelling Y!A hate only generates more Y!A hate. Y!A is internationally known therefore it is not only impossible but wrong to limit Y!A hate to a particular nationality.
You just gotta brush the haters off. Some may just wake up in the morning feeling crabby or just get off irritating people. By letting it effect you, you just feed the bitterness that reside in some people (some not all). Some of these haters on here may just be part-time haters, mean on Y!A then calm, cool, and collective out on the streets. So don't take too much offence because for every Y!A hater stirring up an animosity so thick, there is always a Y!A participant trying to dilute it with genuine comments or even constructive criticism.
As well, another thing that you gotta keep in mind is that this haters have a right to post to their comments. Y!A is forum where people can ask what they want (so long as coincides with the rules of conduct) and others are free to provide their opinion which also includes negative comments (so long as it coincides with the rules of conduct). Likewise, Y!A participants are also free to give a thumbs up or thumbs down in order to rate Y!A answers. Also with the new features of Y!A you can block a users or you could make your network private. There are a lot of options if you can not stand the negative comments of particular Y!A answerers.
Just continue to do you thing on Y!A and brush the haters off. Don't dwell, just live well!

What makes you so sure all the haters are American? This site is used by a number of different countries. That being said, there seems to besomething appealing about being absolutely obnoxious and anonymous at the same time. It isn't just on this site, it is anywhere people are allowed to post comments or opinions. My suggestion to you is to ignore them as much as possible. What else can you do really? They are not going to stop.

It's not jealousy. It's just a fun site. Lay back and go with the flow. There are always people out there who will make silly and childish comments. Heck I do it sometimes too. But don't say it's just American girls.

I'm comfortable with who I am. If someone else is prettier and more popular, go them! My mom taught me manners and respect. I'm not going to hate the haters, or I'll be a hater. I'll just say, I don't agree with putting others down.

It is annoying ,but sadly, it's the internet. People think it's the ultimate place to bring people down because you can't see their faces. But that still doesn't make it right.

Wow, way to generalize all American girls.
Don't hate just because you don't look as good.
