Why did men rape women?

Why are women victims of rape what are the causes and who is really responsible??????//??

It dependes on the situation...but not just women are victims of rape...its children too....and men...anyone really....some people are really sick in the head....they may not be angry with that person they could be mad at someone else.....but i pray for them any way....and i pray for all the victims....god bless...and be safe

It is an ugly reality that the 'haves' exploit the 'have nots'. Though not every body but it is uncomfortably common enough that the physically stronger bully school boy hurts the weaker boy, the rich fleece the poor, the knowledged take advantage of the ignorant and man rapes woman. What makes 'Rape' so much more painful is the lasting social maltreatment of the rape victim. Society must feel ashamed for failing to protect its women from rapists. Why must the rape victim be made to feel ashamed and like a permanent failure.

Having never raped a woman I would not know what is in the mind of a rapist as to why he does it.....I would imagine that there are tons of books on the subject.....

Who is responsible now that is a really interesting question.

The pure rapist, one who attacks women and rapes them is the one responsible for that type of rape....

on the other had the woman that goes out with a man and lets say after the date at 2 or 3 in the morning goes to a mans place or takes the man to her place .....Then if she goes into being touchy feely with the guy maybe even getting naked and into bed and then when the guy is ready to go says "I don’t want to do it". at that point some guys can stop and some guys have hit the point of no return......at that point I think both are responsible. But as long as women are allowed to do that with no repercussions only the guy will pay the consequences of both their actions......

Personally I think the guy should stop no matter how frustrated he gets.....But I also don’t think that women should go scott free when they do everything to get a man excited and then put on the brakes......

Don’t get me wrong I am not trying to trivialize being raped I am just saying that some of the rapes can be avoided....like a woman should never go to a mans place or have a man at her place late at night because it sets the stage in a mans head as to what the evening will bring.....

There is no right answer.

Sometimes the men are under this delusion that they are "in love" with each other & that instead of committing an act of pain they are doing an act of love. Sometimes they think that they are "teaching the women a lesson", whatever the lesson may be. You get many that do it for the power that they hold over the woman. They find that they are impotent unless they are harming someone. There are the men that do it for the sexual gratification, but usually it is for the power aspect.

IMO, the person at fault is the rapist. The woman never asks for something like this. People can say, "She shouldn't dress like that" or "She acts like a *****, so what else should she expect" or "Good girls don't walk down that street" or "What was she doing out at night" or thousands of other statements like that. Those lines are meaningless & misguided. A woman should have the right to say, dress, act, & go where she wants to without fear of being harmed. The bottom line is that if the woman says no, it means no. The rapist should take that answer & respect it. No woman asks to be raped & no woman wants to be. It is something that shatters their entire life to pieces. The healing is intense & is often as traumatic as the experience itself.

Indians never rape women. If Indian male rapes women then the female who got raped can send the Indian male to prison for a number of years. On the other hand, now-a-days it is the females who rape the Indian males by filing cases, arresting the males and trouble the males in one thousand ways. It is always the Indian females who go into confict/confront the Indian males and give troubles. And for this the law supports the Indian females only and there is not a single law to safeguard the Indian males.

Men with no manshood do these acts. Man is a symbol of irony, strugglable lifeform. But unfortunately has become so frustated that he just wants somethink he can feel if does would quench his wiil power.. he tries to make up thinks first but due to repeated rejection to his desires he faces a kind of being imprisoned, say a lion in a cage is more hungry than the one in open jungle, he ruggs himself in just just wanna prove his strength, for which he would choos a soft body, a desire of seduction and sex is what can bring his urge to sweat of accomplishment. thats where he mistakes and does what he shud not. Men loose patience very wildly. Its some who are just menace to the society, who just feel they can get anything by hok or by crook. There are some who just take it as an ultimate answer to their stress, and for some its just a matter of fun. Its really pity for the society we wanna live in. Such people are like mad dogs, who have no sense of pain and they don't give any hug to humanism and the aftermath even. They just go wild, and such dogs must be killed, either their arms shud be ripped of, or the best way is to socially in front of public they should be slaughtered so that it gives a lesson to those who even think of trying such a job.

Some men are lustful and have no control over their senses . thre is no question of the womwn being responsible . will any sensible man rape his mother/sister / daughter because she dresses in a manner that entices men to attempt on her . How is it that they admoinish them or advise them to dress properly and do not rape them?
so lusty idiots alone resort to rape women irrespectivge of he women beiong responsible . they doit if they think that it is easy to do it and that there is no risk involved and that they can escape .It is hjust lie people stealiong if hey ar sure that no one woud notice the theft .Ill breeding should be the cause .

Why do males rape females? It's an act of aggression, hostility, insecurity, feelings of powerlessness, and a statement of revenge. Rapists will be rapists as long as they live. If not overtly, they fantasize rape behavior as their pornographic stimulus. Most males, are physically stronger than most females. That's what power is about. Are suggesting that females invite brutal and/or violent rape? Please, go to a women's shelter, and interview the residents there. You will get the truth. My query is why do males sexually molest and kill children. Do these kids invite rape?

Some times this heinous act on women because of psychological reasons.
Some times the in love failed cases the men for no reason think all women are bad and try to molest them.This is also a mental aberration.
There are some criminal minded people , who simply drink liquor and do any type of act at the time. intentionally.Unless they forcibly enjoy then only they feel pleasure.It is another facet of aberration.
Some times the modern women dress code and actions incite even calm persons to indulge in such activity.The women themselves are the reason for this.

Like this it is a biological,psychological,social factors that contribute to the molestation.Some times women too are responsible.But it is a minority compared to total cases.

because men can over power a woman to rape her. face it, their are many sick people in the world and they prey on the ones that are weaker than them. it is not only men, but women have raped as well. you don't hear of this for it is not taken as serious for many would just laugh at that. women need to learn how to defend themselves and some need to just think a little so they do not get themselves into the situation that got them raped. we also need stiffer penalty's for those who rape.
