I've heard about Europe's promisicuous repuation, and I was wondering, would it really be suitable for a family vacation? I am a Christian, and therefore do not drink either. Would Europe really be a suitable place to visit?

We have many Christians that keep to the same rules as you do too. You will have to be a bit careful about which beach towns you go, but you can visit even the big cities if you want.
I do little drinking myself, and I have never felt out of place anywhere I have been in Europe, and I have seen half the famous cities, and even a few beach towns in Spain.

I think you best look for a packet trip organized by people of your church, or people who may have a slightly stricter way of life, if you are a little scared of traveling by yourself.

Many places in Europe had a lot to do with church history.
I have been to the chapel of John Wesley recently:

There are of course the birthplace of Luther, Calvin and so on.
The church history from before the reformation, if you are willing to enter places that are Roman Catholic now, but many are now run by protestant churches too, like most of the old churches in the Netherlands, northern parts of Germany, England.
There is a little village Taizé in France where a group of protestant men began a monastery kind of life that now gets thousands of people, most young adults, visiting to experience the life:

So if you want to come to Europe, do so, there is a lot for you to do and see, and you will regret it if you just stay home because you are scared.

Yes, Europe is great for a family vacation. There are so many to see in Europe. If you're looking for history buildings, nature sightseeing, art galeries and some cultural events, Europe is the full package.
And you only need a single visa to get into most countries. And it's so easy to travel for one place to another places and even across the countries.

And one more thing, don't forget to visit Rome. You'll just fall in love with the city.

The overwhelming majority of Europe's population is Christian and they are no more promiscuous than the people of North America.

You could seriously use a vacation there to discover what Europe is all about. You'll quickly be relieved of your preconceived notions.

Have a great time!

I'm a Christian too, and I went to Austria on a missions trip last summer. There are alot of things in Europe that we had to bypass and not look at. They have issues with America for one, so you have to be real careful. My suggestion would be to go with a travel agent and try and book a planned tour with a tour guide that will take you to the main places like Rome, London, Venice, etc. That way you stay busy, and don't have to worry about ending up somewhere not safe.
