I have just finished an Art Degree and a Masters in Digital Art. If I have a qualification it is in idea creation. But I don't know the best way to make use of my talent...any ideas?

Digital...web design? Lots of money in that. Join a Job site like Monster or Reed and look for 'Creative' jobs.

If you are feeling lazy though I found this competition where you can win £1000 for just coming up with an Idea! The link is, http://www.starttalkingideas.org/get_involved/grand_idea

Or alternatively if you are so good at thinking up ideas, think up your own job idea! (sorry don't mean to be harsh) I know it is hard to find a good job these days. If my company needed a creative I would ask you to apply...but sadly we are not.

I think the possibilities are many. They are not just hiring MBA's in business but also poets, of all things. Read in depth about some job's and see what feels right. A cursory inquiry won't do, as there are unusual niches and different aspects you have not thought of everywhere you look or that may not seem to be a match. The owner makes the difference on whether a job is fun or not.

You need to find a way to make your ideas into a marketable item, otherwise, someone else will make the $$'s from your ideas.

Did you take any business/marketing/management courses while in school?

Being new, dont put yourself into one category. Look at everything around you. Can you make it better? different? or something new?

If you can, go to the people involved, and make a presentation. Keep it small and simple, but informative. If they arent receptive, go to their competition, or find an alternative market.

Be different. Start small, get your name out there, and work hard.

Everyone has ideas. You need to show that your ideas are workable, to stand out.

IBM used to pay people to go up the mountain and produce the idea on what the public might want to buy next, whether they still do is something you could still research yourself.

I have loads of ideas myself but have never been paid for them, however when I put the ideas into practise what I produce as a result of the idea may earn me some dosh.

try advertising agencies or surely you could produce some digital art and get yourself an agent?
