Hmmm, as for me dahling. I belong to the generation wherein Farewell to you my friend was the latest song during graduations in the Philippines. When Edsa 1 was happening, I was in the 10th grade dahling.
I think most of the people here are in their late twenties up to their early forties dahling. Except for some who are old physically but mentally are held back by some 15 years or so.

Definitely there is no age bracket in participating YAP. For as long as you have the idea whether its big or not share it. For instance you will be surprised that you come to think that your idea is not good but after all its a big thing. If you have it just share it. Always think positive! Never of those ages definitely there is no age limit! Only the carabao becomes old!

Well if you really insist, I'm JUST 48, living in Washington State, works in the Gulf of Mexico. Since I'm so far from home this is as close as I can get.
Yes, it's suppose to be a travel and tourism Q/A. But, this is also a good place to make "tambay". You know what happens when you make tambay, everything goes.
Kabayan/Bay/Day kumusta na? See what I mean.

25. If you feel uncomfortable you are free not to answer any questions that you think are nonsense.
But this is a public forum and you will always find nonsense questions and answers and users. Anywhere you go in Yahoo Answers people are bickering.
Even if the questions that you think are nonsense for you, some users actually find it interesting. And if you look close enough even Yahoo Answers staff ask useless questions.
The best thing you can do is ignore it and go to the next question.

27.
some people just don't want to ignore. and some simply wants to add fuel to the fire. some people take offense. some people love to tease. some people cross the line. some people can't stand to be civil anymore when attacked.
just sit back and watch and try to decipher what it's all about. this has been going on even before i joined and till now i haven't found out where it all began.
best you can do is answer questions that you like. your choice to jump in the bandwagon but please do respect what people at YAP wants to do. my life, your life. not OUR life. let YAHOO ANSWERS decide.
=)

And no, I don't think we're having a frat/sorority war. It's just that we ALL have our own idiosyncrasies and we have yet to learn to be more respectful of each other. I grant that most of you are more experienced and smarter than me but that doesn't necessarily make you are a better person than me. Each serious answerer has something to offer, big or small...so let's hear it from everyone! Let's listen more and argue less.

I am 27, a mother of two and a wife. I like coming on here b/c it is informative but I also like to just joke around and have a good laugh every now and then. And yes, there are alot of really stupid questions on here that serve no purpose what-so-ever and those people may need a little more monitoring. Don't you ever just get on here for a laugh? Instead of getting irritated..just laugh at how smart/ mature you are in comparison to those people. And thank GOD that you don't have to deal w/ those people on a daily basis.
