Position the amplifier so that it faces you. You may even have to angle it on an amplifier stand (around $30 for a new one) so that it is pointing directly at your ear. Be sure to position it so that it does not face your vocal microphone if you have one. This means you will HAVE to use a microphone on your amp for it to be heard in the "mix". If that doesn't work, you might have to get a louder amp. If your amp has an external speaker out jack, you could also add an extension speaker cabinet, which will "move more air" - and the bigger the speaker cabinet, the more air moved, so a "4x12" cabinet will "move the most air". These speaker cabinets weigh about 100 pounds, so keep that in mind. Without knowing your exact situation, I can't give you much else. Email me with more details and I'll see if I can help you.

Oh yeah... you could also try telling the other guys to TURN IT DOWN... that might work too - ;)

There is no real free way to do it, but if you have a 100 laying around, they have a special box that tunes out all outside noises so all you here is what you play, sorry i cant give you the actual name of it.

You could play when no one else is. LIke, when they leave or something.. The guitar should have come with an amp.. that could help too.
