ok so i got my period on the 19th of this month and on the 20th i've been feeling sick like throwing up. i took some antiacid pills but they wouldnt work. then the day before my period ended i took pepto bismol and the next morning i felt better. then i bought some stronger antiacid pills and about 15 minutes after i took them i went to the bathroom and sort of let it all out [because i berely did number 2] ok so since yesterday at about 3 in the morning, i've had a terrible itch around my anus. during the day im fine. then last night it took me about half an hour to get to sleep. i felt like something was crawling out of there. yesterday i read about pinworms and i have those simptoms but im not sure. now everytime i think about what i read i feel them. so my question is do they go away on their own, or can i buy something in the store to get rid of them?
oh and are they dangerous like if theyre left untreated
[i have a trip in about 2 weeks and i really dont want this affecting it]

I would go to the doctor. Your period and this issue may not be related. You could have something as simple as hemorrhoids, they have a cream for that. It could also be something as simple as you pushed too hard "doing number two" and you tore the skin. I do not recommend reading on the internet about illnesses, it's too easy to scare the heck out of yourself. Go see your doctor, and I'm betting you'll be fine!
Good Luck!

it does sound like pinworms. You'll need to go to a doctor for medication to get rid of them. this is going to sound weird but if you'll put a peice of tape on your anus at night if you have them you'll see some stuck to the tape in the morning. You can't get rid of them on your own. I would go to a dr anyway. If it's not worms they'll know what it is and get you the right meds to help. Good luck!

Pinworm infections are easily treated with medication. The infection may go away on its own, although this may take up to 14 weeks (two pinworm life cycles). However, medication can help prevent reinfection and the spread of pinworms to other people.

This probably does not help, but you should probably go to your local GP with these questions, as they will be able to give you the correct, effective and quick acting treatments.

try alchohol.
stop taking antacid, too much reduces the strenght of your stomach acid, and helps the pitworms survive.
eat more fiber and potassium(makes poop harder) and you might be able(probably) to pass the worms.
