Not at Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, K- MArt, hardware store, Target...I don't know where to get them.

I know that any manufacturing company for doors should have em, or you could try to get them at a home security store or web site....... I believe they are called doorguards.
hope this helped you out....oh yeah, you could use a broom handle(wood) cut to the right length,........
you could use the bottom portion of a crutch (the part that is removable), with the little cork on the end....theses are probably the best alternatives, seeing that the wood is pressed and more durable

Make one yourself. You can use practically anything, even a wooden dowel rod. Cut it to the necessary length. A 5/8-inch or 3/4-inch wooden dowel will work fine.

If you can't find the metal sticks use a good piece of 2x4 you can cut it to size.

Or an old broom handle-- measure the distance and check around-- might as well have security for free!
