My personal opinion............
He was fearless!!!!!
He make the Russians back down and Cuba pull out the missiles aimed at the U.S..
He wanted everyone to participate in working for our country. He was handsome and the women loved him and the men had great respect for his ability to lead the nation.
His wife was a soft spoken opinionated first lady that was the first woman to put glamour in the White House. She contributed greatly to his image and "HE KNEW IT".
He absolutely hated discrimination of any kind, as did his brother Bobby.
He led the nation with wisdom and force and he proceeded to run the country like it should have been.
The only people that disliked him were the ones who feared the fact that his only vice of corruption was allegedly chasing women.
He is greatly missed by people of my generation and the young people of today have no idea what a real president is. Aside from Harry S. Truman, Kennedy was the best. He practiced the thing as Truman, the buck stopped at his desk.

he was and still is the youngest ever president of the USA. he was in charge of the USA in the cold war. he stopped the world from going to war for the third time (if not it would have been a nuclear war). he lost the space race against the USSR. and tried to over throw the lead of Cuba because this was where the USSR had put there weapons and he was against Communist and this was when most of the world was divided because of Communism (the Berlin wall). he was assassinated on 22ND November 63

I believe he was important because he was young, and had a lot of hope and faith in the kids who would be the nation's future. Also, his wife helped him establish very good ties with France and other countries, so they made a great team in building a good future for the U.S.

His importance may have been exaggerated due to his tragic death but I was working in Latin America at that time and I remember the hope that the people of the region placed in him.
